My first opportunity to Speak Like a Leader came in 2009 when, as a specialist, I presented to a CEO for the first time. That moment taught me the power of preparation, presence, and communication—and proved that leadership isn’t about a title; it’s about how you show up.
Over the last 15 years, I’ve been in rooms with decision-makers, pitching strategies and gaining buy-in on projects that shaped entire organizations, from regulatory overhauls to game-changing business initiatives. At the same time, I launched my business and built it from the ground up as a corporate leader, proving that you can excel in both spaces when you know how to use your voice.
During the pandemic, I doubled my salary by having intentional conversations with leadership, advocating for my worth, and showing up as a leader in every interaction. That transformation didn’t just advance my career—it gave me the freedom to fully fund my business and pursue my purpose.
